OFFF Barcelona 2025: A quarter of a century shaping the future of digital creativity
OFFF Barcelona, the world’s most influential festival in creativity, design, and digital art, is back once again. As in previous editions, CC/magazine joins as a media partner to continue bringing innovation and talent closer to our audience. This year is particularly special, as the festival celebrates its 25th anniversary with a historic edition set to take place from 8th to 10th May 2025 at the Disseny Hub Barcelona.

Over the course of three days, attendees will immerse themselves in an outstanding programme of conferences, workshops, masterclasses, and exhibitions featuring some of the most innovative names in the industry.
A stellar line-up featuring 70 renowned speakers
o commemorate this milestone, OFFF Barcelona 2025 will bring together 70 leading figures in design, AI, visual art, and digital culture. Among this year’s standout speakers are DixonBaxi, Territory Studio, Ines Alpha, Marina Willer, Anna Ginsburg, Paul Trillo, and Marshmallow Laser Feast, among others.
The event will feature the presentation of the “Main Titles” by Territory Studio, renowned for its work on Hollywood blockbusters such as “Blade Runner 2049” and “Avengers: Endgame”. Additionally, the collective Marshmallow Laser Feast will offer an immersive experience that pushes the boundaries of perception.
The festival will also welcome figures like Claire Blyth, founder of Red Setter and host of the My Life in Design podcast, who will interview Marc Català, co-founder of the prestigious studio Mucho. Moreover, Emmy-winning creative Filipe Carvalho will record a special live episode of his podcast in collaboration with Digital Kitchen.
OFFF expands with new public experiences
As an exciting new addition, OFFF 2025 will introduce OFFF a la Ciutat, a series of free, public activities designed to bring digital creativity closer to the people of Barcelona.
Key highlights include:
La Plaça Design Market: An open-air design market featuring local and international artisans.
The Screen: A mapping experience on the façade of the Disseny Hub, showcasing projections from both emerging and established artists.
Project NXT: A dedicated space for the next generation of creative talent, featuring presentations by students from Barcelona’s leading design schools.

A new OFFF for a new era
To mark its 25th anniversary, OFFF Barcelona has refreshed its visual identity in collaboration with the renowned design firm COLLINS.
This rebranding reflects the festival’s evolution from its inception in 2001 to its status as a global benchmark in the creative industry. The new identity captures OFFF’s dynamic and visionary essence, striking a balance between discipline and cutting-edge innovation.
An event committed to the future
Artificial intelligence and virtual reality will play a key role in this edition, with the participation of artists working with these technologies, such as Boldtron, Ines Alpha, Niceaunties, and Paul Trillo. Together, they will lead the Creative Review panel, where they will share their approaches to developing unique visual styles within the industry.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore innovations in branding and motion graphics with DixonBaxi, a creative studio that has collaborated with platforms such as Hulu and CW. Additionally, they will discover the work of Domestic Data Streamers, a collective of artists, programmers, and data scientists who have partnered with institutions like Tate Modern and the Hong Kong Design Institute.
