One example is the housekeeping system: rooms are cleaned by default every seven days, significantly reducing unnecessary use of water, chemicals and energy. However, if guests need additional cleaning, they can request it free of charge before 2:00 PM on the same day. On each floor, there is a 24/7 open pantry where guests can freely help themselves to extra towels, pillows or blankets—respecting everyone’s rhythm and preferences.

Home away from home And although all this might sound conceptual, the Zoku experience is profoundly tangible. From a relaxed breakfast on the terrace or in the sun loungers, to an impromptu meeting in the coworking space, or an after-work drink with a view followed by dinner at Living Kitchen—Zoku proves it’s possible to feel at home in a city that isn’t your own. And more than that: to feel like you’re part of it.
Our stay at Zoku Copenhagen was, quite simply, exceptional. Beyond its innovative concept, one thing truly surprised us: its location. At first, we thought it might be a bit far from the centre, but we were wrong. The hotel is perfectly connected by public transport and, as we mentioned earlier, is located in Amager—a neighbourhood that won us over with its authenticity, creative energy and local character.
Its proximity to the airport makes travel convenient, and its location near the sea makes it the perfect starting point to explore gems like Dragør, a charming fishing village that feels frozen in time, with colourful houses, cobbled streets and breathtaking views of the Baltic Sea that invite you to slow down.
In short, in a time when the boundaries between work and life are increasingly blurred, Zoku Copenhagen offers an elegant, innovative and deeply human alternative. A hotel to live in—not just sleep in.
