Founded by Lu\u00eds Cunha<\/em> with a clear, demanding and detail-driven vision, the space has become a key reference point in Lisbon for those who value editorial projects with depth, purpose and soul.<\/p>\n

Its shelves \u2013 arranged more like an exhibition than a traditional bookshop \u2013 bring together cult international magazines, auteur books, fanzines, design objects, printed art and limited editions rarely found elsewhere in the city.<\/p>\n

Visiting Under the Cover<\/em> is much more than browsing: it’s an experience that celebrates print as a sensory, cultural and emotional medium. An oasis for the curious, the aesthetes, the travellers and the collectors of stories.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s why we\u2019re especially delighted to see our guides and journals find their new home in Lisbon at a place so aligned with our values. Published in English, printed on premium Fedrigoni<\/em> papers and produced at an FSC<\/em>-certified printer, each issue is packaged with care in a unique sleeve made from 100% recyclable multilayer PET<\/em> plastic bags.<\/p>\n

The latest edition, The Unusual Barcelona (journal & guide)<\/em>, comes in an expanded format with Japanese stitched spine binding and twice the number of pages compared to previous editions.<\/p>\n

Its editorial design has been carefully conceived to offer a more immersive reading experience: it combines thoughtfully curated recommendations with exclusive interviews featuring Salva L\u00f3pez<\/em>, architecture studio Mesura<\/em>, artist Chidy Wayne<\/em>, and floral stylists Flowers by Bornay<\/em>. The issue also includes original photography by M\u00f2nica Figueras<\/em>, Guillaume Lavrut<\/em>, Clemente Vergara<\/em>, Lalovenenoso<\/em>, Marta Vidal<\/em> and Romain Laprade<\/em>; curated city routes; and local insights from voices such as Ver\u00f2nica Fuerte (Hey Studio)<\/em>, Helena Agust\u00ed (La Culture House) <\/em>and In\u00e9s Mir\u00f3-Sans (Casa Bonay)<\/em>, among others \u2014 all reflecting the creative, culinary and artistic pulse of the city.<\/p>\n
