It\u2019s housed inside St. Pauls Apotek<\/em>, a classic Danish pharmacy dating back to 1878, within FRAMA\u2019s Studio Store<\/em>, in the iconic Nyboder district of Copenhagen. The chef behind the kitchen is Chiara Barla<\/em>, who has crafted a menu based on homemade recipes made with organic, seasonal and delicious ingredients.<\/p>\n

Chiara Barla\u2019s approach<\/h6>\n

With a background in art history, Barla<\/em> has created a menu where fresh ingredients, unique flavours, vibrant colours and rich textures take centre stage. The menu also features a curated selection of baked goods made exclusively for Apotek 57<\/em>, paired with La Cabra coffee<\/em><\/a>, homemade jams, preserves, freshly pressed juices and fermented drinks. Everything is prepared in-house. Mmmm…<\/p>\n

As part of FRAMA<\/em>\u2019s growth, the brand has also launched a series of its own products \u2014 including an olive oil made from Taggiasca olives in Liguria, and a red wine produced with Dolcetto grapes harvested in 2020 in Alba, Piedmont.<\/p>\n

Holistic design by FRAMA<\/h6>\n

This multidisciplinary design studio, founded in 2011 by Niels Str\u00f8yer Christophersen<\/em>, works across a wide range of creative fields: from furniture, lighting and kitchens to books, clothing and fragrances.<\/p>\n

What truly defines this Danish lifestyle brand is its holistic vision of design, and its ability to create objects that awaken the senses and promote a conscious way of living.<\/p>\n

They focus on a minimal yet striking visual approach that is deeply captivating and aesthetically refined, while using high-quality natural materials and embracing simple geometries.<\/p>\n

The result is a timeless yet contemporary look \u2014 something FRAMA<\/em> is renowned for.<\/p>\n

Naturally, this entire philosophy has been applied to the caf\u00e9. Each spatial element is seamlessly integrated, creating a fluid scenography bathed in natural light.<\/p>\n

And if that weren\u2019t enough, the entire space is filled with the brand\u2019s own pieces \u2014 from lighting, dining tables and chairs, kitchen units and self-care products to tableware, glassware, cutlery and other home accessories \u2014 forming a balanced and inspiring experience.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s more, seeing these objects in such a special setting makes it easy to imagine them in our own homes.<\/p>\n

Long table gatherings by FRAMA<\/h6>\n

You may remember FRAMA\u2019s Long Table Gatherings<\/em>, a limited series of private events organised in collaboration with Kinfolk<\/em>, which for years featured some of Copenhagen\u2019s most celebrated chefs. These gatherings were a true reflection of FRAMA<\/em>\u2019s love for culinary culture.<\/p>\n

As mentioned, the interiors of this legendary pharmacy have been reimagined with great intelligence and given a contemporary twist.<\/p>\n

A perfect example lies in the preservation of original details \u2014 such as the ornate wooden panelling, shelving and wooden cabinets \u2014 all maintained as part of the decor.<\/p>\n
