Across the city\u2019s eight Design Districts, a rich programme of immersive installations, open studios, guided tours, rooftop meet-ups and meaningful conversations revealed what design can achieve when driven by authenticity and purpose.<\/p>\n<p>From established studios to emerging talents, each participant offered more than just products \u2014 they shared ideas brimming with meaning, emotion and social relevance. The festival made its message clear: design is not about status, hierarchy or exclusivity \u2014 it\u2019s about people. From a tactile exploration of natural textures to an introspective installation on mental wellbeing, design wasn\u2019t just seen \u2014 it was felt.<\/p>\n<p>More than a design event, <em>3daysofdesign 2025<\/em> became a cultural phenomenon, turning the entire city into a living platform for ideas. And while the numbers reveal its vast reach and impact, what truly defined this edition was something more intangible: a profound, shared sense of purpose and connection.<\/p>\n<p>The result? A powerful demonstration that great design doesn\u2019t divide \u2014 it unites.<\/p>\n<p>Now, as the design world already looks forward to the next edition (from 10\u201312 June 2026), one thing is clear: in Copenhagen, design has not only found a home \u2014 it has found a heartbeat.<\/p>\n<h6>Highlights and presentations<\/h6>\n<p>As you can imagine, this edition was filled with countless remarkable concepts, launches and installations. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve made a selection of the most inspiring highlights from the festival.<\/p>\n<p><u>Here begins our first journey through the brands, spaces and ideas that moved us most at the vibrant 2025 edition of <em>3daysofdesign<\/em>.<\/u><\/p>\n<p><strong>INTERMEZZO: A sensory pause in the heart of Copenhagen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Among the most evocative experiences at <em>3daysofdesign<\/em>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.3daysofdesign.dk\/exhibition\/intermezzo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em data-start=\"2814\" data-end=\"2826\">Intermezzo<\/em><\/a> stood out for its ability to turn the everyday into something poetic. Located on the ground floor of an industrial car park at Vognmagergade 5, this ephemeral installation offered an unexpected refuge \u2014 where natural light, repurposed fabrics and ambient sound danced together in a choreography of calm and contemplation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-88878 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ARNE-AKSEL.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1088\" height=\"1450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ARNE-AKSEL.jpg 1088w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ARNE-AKSEL-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ARNE-AKSEL-319x425.jpg 319w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/ARNE-AKSEL-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1088px) 100vw, 1088px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Conceived by spatial designer <em>Yasmin Edgecombe<\/em> in collaboration with textile studio <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arneaksel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>ARNE AKSEL<\/em><\/a>, <em>Intermezzo <\/em>reimagined the concept of a sundial \u2014 allowing light and shadow to shape the rhythm of the space and inviting visitors to slow down, breathe and surrender to the present. In this oasis where <em>&#8220;creativity dances between lines&#8221;<\/em>, participants included brands such as<em> Loom Design<\/em> (Denmark), it\u2019s about <em>ROMI<\/em> (Netherlands), <em>Triple Bottom Line<\/em> (Japan), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marcozelli.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Marco Zelli<\/em><\/a> (Switzerland), <em>Marset<\/em> (Spain), <em>Friends &amp; Founders<\/em> (Denmark), <em>Manu Matters<\/em> (Sweden), <em>Jeroen De Ruddere<\/em> (Belgium) and <em>Hollis + Morris (<\/em>Canada).<\/p>\n<p>Intentional minimalism, material honesty and architecture without artifice were the cornerstones of a space where nothing was superfluous and everything had purpose. <em>Intermezzo<\/em> reminded us that design can also be an act of pause, of listening, and of play.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TEKLA x Modern Romance: Embroidered poetry at Charlottenborg<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/teklafabrics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Tekla<\/em><\/a> unveiled its <em>Modern Romance<\/em> exhibition by transforming the historic <em>Charlottenborg Palace<\/em> into a sanctuary of calm and textile sensitivity. In collaboration with design studio <em>Mentze Ottenstein<\/em> and with music by <em>Astrid Sonne<\/em>, the Danish brand presented its new <em>Broderie Anglaise<\/em> collection \u2014 a delicate evolution of its iconic bed linen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-88929 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/3_days_of_design_broderie_anglaise.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"1120\" height=\"1400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/3_days_of_design_broderie_anglaise.webp 1120w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/3_days_of_design_broderie_anglaise-240x300.webp 240w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/3_days_of_design_broderie_anglaise-340x425.webp 340w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/3_days_of_design_broderie_anglaise-768x960.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1120px) 100vw, 1120px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Returning to its roots \u2014 <em>&#8220;everything begins with the bed&#8221;<\/em>, said co-founder <em>Kristoffer Juhl<\/em> \u2014 <em>Tekla<\/em> explored the decorative potential of broderie anglaise through duvet covers, cushions and sheets crafted from organic cotton and embroidered with details that evoke craftsmanship and intimacy. Walnut beds and loungers, made by Georgian carpenters, added a sculptural touch to the space.<\/p>\n<p>The collection celebrates the beauty of the everyday with a more romantic and expressive language, while staying true to the brand\u2019s minimalist DNA. Amid frills, cutwork and the scent of potpourri, <em>Tekla<\/em> delivered a sensory experience that united design, history and emotion.<\/p>\n<p><strong>VIPP x STUDIO KO: The soul of the kitchen and the poetics of material<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the most sophisticated and surprising collaborations of this edition came from Danish brand <a href=\"https:\/\/vipp.com\/en\/world-of-vipp\/inspiration\/spaces\/3daysofdesign-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Vipp<\/em><\/a> and renowned architecture practice <em>Studio KO<\/em>. Together, they presented a temporary guesthouse that challenged the traditional idea of home. Hidden behind a fa\u00e7ade of charred wood \u2014 an ancient technique \u2014 and located in a former garage, the installation paid homage to the kitchen as the vital heart of the home. The iconic <em>Vipp V1<\/em> kitchen system appeared in a never-seen-before copper finish, framed by architecture that was both brutalist and elegant.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-88874 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/vipp-studio-ko-guesthouse-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1029\" height=\"1500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/vipp-studio-ko-guesthouse-01.jpg 1029w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/vipp-studio-ko-guesthouse-01-206x300.jpg 206w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/vipp-studio-ko-guesthouse-01-292x425.jpg 292w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/vipp-studio-ko-guesthouse-01-768x1120.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1029px) 100vw, 1029px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Designed to awaken all the senses, the space blended pure Scandinavian forms with textures, scents and sounds that evoked distant cultures. <em>Studio KO<\/em> \u2014 creators of the <em>Yves Saint Laurent Museum<\/em> in Marrakech \u2014 brought their distinctive narrative of materials and contrasts, creating a sensory experience that, as <em>Karl Fournier<\/em> explained, <em>&#8220;evokes everything central to our collective imagination: sharing meals and the art of cooking&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2240\" data-end=\"2297\"><strong data-start=\"2244\" data-end=\"2295\">HEM: Modular design that brings people together<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2240\" data-end=\"2297\">Celebrating its tenth anniversary, independent brand <a href=\"https:\/\/hem.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>HEM<\/em><\/a>\u00a0presented one of the festival\u2019s most exciting collections at <em>3daysofdesign<\/em>: <em data-start=\"2431\" data-end=\"2443\">Palma Pouf<\/em> by British-Ghanaian designer <em>Kusheda Mensah<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2240\" data-end=\"2297\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-88940 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/2025_06_Hem_3DD_Sean-Davidson_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1120\" height=\"1400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/2025_06_Hem_3DD_Sean-Davidson_03.jpg 1120w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/2025_06_Hem_3DD_Sean-Davidson_03-240x300.jpg 240w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/2025_06_Hem_3DD_Sean-Davidson_03-340x425.jpg 340w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/2025_06_Hem_3DD_Sean-Davidson_03-768x960.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1120px) 100vw, 1120px\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2240\" data-end=\"2297\">This modular seating series, with its organic forms and playful spirit, was designed to foster human connection. Inspired by her work <em data-start=\"2623\" data-end=\"2633\">Mutual I<\/em>, <em>Mensah<\/em> transformed her sculptures into tactile, welcoming furniture created not just for sitting, but for conversation, sharing and bonding.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2777\" data-end=\"3105\">Each module supports multiple positions and accommodates several bodies at once, creating an atmosphere that is informal, intimate and inclusive. <em>&#8220;It\u2019s a dream come true to debut this collection at 3daysofdesign&#8221;<\/em>, said <em>Mensah<\/em>. A collaboration between<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tableau-cph.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em> Tableau<\/em><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/editionsolenne.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>\u00c9dition Solenne<\/em><\/a>, it brought together nine international artists to explore three materials central to the history of art: bronze, marble and glass. The exhibition not only honoured their legacy \u2014 from the ateliers of Pietrasanta to the alchemy of Murano glass \u2014 but reactivated them through works that blurred the boundaries between art, design and function.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3711\" data-end=\"4113\">From the dreamlike digital forms of <em>Andr\u00e9s Reisinger t<\/em>o the introspective ceramics of <em>Cathrine Raben Davidsen<\/em> and the chromatic objects of<em> Helle Mardahl<\/em>, <em data-start=\"3865\" data-end=\"3882\">Project Materia<\/em> was a conceptual and sensory journey. The exhibition asked a fundamental question: what do the materials that have shaped art history say to us today? A moving experience that revalued origin, process and intention in every piece.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4120\" data-end=\"4199\"><strong data-start=\"4124\" data-end=\"4197\">LEE BROOM: An intimate look at the past, present and future of design<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4200\" data-end=\"4620\">In his highly anticipated<em> 3daysofdesign<\/em> debut, British designer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leebroom.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Lee Broom<\/em><\/a> dazzled with <em data-start=\"4287\" data-end=\"4302\">From Here Now<\/em>, an immersive exhibition set in Copenhagen\u2019s historic <em>Asia House<\/em>. Altogether, <em data-start=\"5054\" data-end=\"5076\">Structures of Living<\/em> showed that the studio not only shapes objects, but designs environments meant to endure and connect deeply with how we live.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5209\" data-end=\"5306\"><strong data-start=\"5213\" data-end=\"5304\">BIG \u2013 Bjarke Ingels Group: <em data-start=\"5242\" data-end=\"5255\">Materialism<\/em>, a sensory journey to the origins of materials<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5307\" data-end=\"5855\">Danish studio <a href=\"https:\/\/big.dk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>BIG \u2013 Bjarke Ingels Group<\/em><\/a> opened the doors of its Copenhagen headquarters to present <em data-start=\"5406\" data-end=\"5419\">Materialism<\/em>, an exhibition offering a sensory exploration of the first seven materials featured in <em data-start=\"5507\" data-end=\"5514\">domus<\/em> magazine under <em>Bjarke Ingels<\/em>\u2019 editorial direction: stone, earth, concrete, metal, glass, wood and textile. Visitors were invited into an innovative route through the headquarters, where each space combined objects, models, prototypes and raw material blocks \u2014 fostering a dialogue between matter and its possible architectural applications.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5857\" data-end=\"6232\">Alongside the exhibition, <em>BIG<\/em> hosted interactive sessions and intimate talks on how material shapes meaning in our built environment.
