A detailed account of her eight films to date<\/h6>\n

The book is beautiful in terms of design –\u00a0Joseph Logan<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Anamar\u00eda Morris<\/em>\u00a0were responsible for the design, although it was edited and reviewed by the filmmaker herself\u00a0– and, of course, includes all her films.\u00a0From\u00a0“The Virgin Suicides”<\/em>\u00a0(1999), as well as\u00a0“Lost in Translation”<\/em>\u00a0(2003),“Somewhere”<\/em>( 2010) to\u00a0“The Beguiled”<\/em>\u00a0(2017).<\/p>\n

This great book even include her next feature film “Priscilla”<\/em>\u00a0(2023), that explores Priscilla Presley<\/em>\u2019<\/em>s first years at\u00a0Graceland.<\/p>\n

It\u00a0will be released this autumn and we are dying to see it! The soundtrack is by her partner\u00a0Thomas Mars<\/em>, lead singer of the French band\u00a0Phoenix<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Curiously, ever since she began in cinema, every time\u00a0Sofia Coppola\u00a0<\/em>finishes a film, she puts all the elements related to that film in a box. And thanks to that collection of valuable and unpublished documents, this tribute book was able to see the light for those enthusiasts of this American actress, producer, scriptwriter and director, the 2003 Oscar winner for “Best Original Screenplay” for “Lost in Translation”<\/em>, as well as the third woman in history to be nominated for “Best Director” by the Oscar Academy.<\/p>\n

So although it may be hard to believe, she has come to collect more than 12 boxes with all kinds of mementos from her films! And she has kept these for years in her family home in Napa, California.<\/p>\n

As you will see, the great nostalgic value of “Archive”<\/em>\u00a0is frosting on the cake for her loyal followers, which we consider ourselves to be, as there are some marvellous details.
