We chatted to her and this is what she told us. Come on in and read.<\/p>\n<h6>What did you want be when you grew up?<\/h6>\n<p>As a very young child, I wanted to be a teacher! But simply to be able to teach others, although later I remember I thought I wanted to run a lingerie shop, hahaha but they were thoughts that simply sailed through my mind.<\/p>\n<p>If I\u2019m honest, I have never really been the kind of person who thinks about the future or looks at things long term.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-46260 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Lanzarote-21_05-VF2-28.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3648\" height=\"5472\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Lanzarote-21_05-VF2-28.jpg 3648w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Lanzarote-21_05-VF2-28-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Lanzarote-21_05-VF2-28-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Lanzarote-21_05-VF2-28-283x425.jpg 283w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 3648px) 100vw, 3648px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t know what I specifically wanted to be but, from a very young age, I would get up every Sunday to draw and I created pictures that I look at now and I can\u2019t believe it!<\/p>\n<p>I never paint now, but I knew I wanted to create, creating was my solace and it still is.<\/p>\n<h6>What is the origin of your Instagram handle \u201clalovenenoso\u201d?<\/h6>\n<p>My first name on Instagram was: Lovenenoso, using \u201cLove\u201d and \u201cveneno\u201d (venom in Spanish), I wanted to combine two words that represent life in two different languages, so it became Lovenenoso (the venomous), but they closed my first account and I wasn\u2019t able to get the same name again, so I added \u201cLa\u201d (\u201cthe\u201d in Spanish) in front and it became LALOVENENOSO :)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-46239 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/XS9A9700.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1205\" height=\"1808\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/XS9A9700.jpg 1205w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/XS9A9700-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/XS9A9700-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/XS9A9700-283x425.jpg 283w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1205px) 100vw, 1205px\" \/><\/p>\n<h6>From the age of twenty, photography is your way of life. What can you tell us about the whole journey, both of life and professionally? Was it a difficult beginning? What were the main pros and cons?<\/h6>\n<p>It hasn\u2019t been difficult for me\u2026Obviously, at the beginning everything is a little harder, the unknown, you are scared but I just got on with it. I remember going to take photographs of events, going as an assistant at the odd wedding\u2026 I look back now and my, I\u2019ve taken so many photographs! But the truth is that, bit by bit and without even realizing it I got to a place where I felt good, and from there I found my way.<\/p>\n<p>I have never really been one to think about things, I knew photography was my life, I was so sure of it that I had no doubts, I allowed time to set the pace, enjoying myself and I suppose I suffered a little too.<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cI knew photography was my life, I was so sure of it that I had no doubts.\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>But as I always say\u2026\u00a0 suffering has given me my work, it\u2019s not that I suffer while I work but that I offload my pain taking photos, let\u2019s say that my pain has given me my work, and given that there will always be suffering\u2026<\/p>\n<h6>You studied photography at the <em>Serra I Abella<\/em> School in Barcelona, and the truth is that we are real fans of the way you see things, of your sensibility and how you manage to convey emotions through your photographs. Were you always clear that the focus of your art should reflect the delicacy of the feminine soul?<\/h6>\n<p>I studied at\u00a0 <em>Serra I Abella<\/em>, where they taught me technical aspects\u2026 the rest I learnt in time or rather than learnt, I discovered, I experimented, I felt\u2026 I saw what I liked, what fulfilled me and in the end, I am moved by my desires.<\/p>\n<p>I took photographs of what I liked, I set my gaze on what I desired, that feminine delicacy, that maybe I couldn\u2019t find in myself.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-46243 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"3024\" height=\"4032\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/3.jpg 3024w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/3-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/3-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/3-319x425.jpg 319w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 3024px) 100vw, 3024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h6>When did you discover you wanted to devote your life to photography?<\/h6>\n<p>At 16 I knew I wanted to take photographs forever, although I had no idea if I would do so professionally.<\/p>\n<h6>How would you define your style? What artistic or personal references have inspired you to achieve aesthetics that are so personal?<\/h6>\n<p>I would define it as genuine and above all, full of feeling. I think people like my photos because they are made of reality, of my feelings that at the end of the day, are something all humans have in common.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t have artistic models, I consume a great deal of Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>I get to know new artists, I love photography books but I don\u2019t have key models, I soak up every artist.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-46245 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/7.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1205\" height=\"1808\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/7.jpg 1205w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/7-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/7-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/7-283x425.jpg 283w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1205px) 100vw, 1205px\" \/><\/p>\n<h6>Are you the type of person who collects and uses many cameras or are you faithful to one camera and one specific model?<\/h6>\n<p>I\u2019m faithful to my camera! Ha ha although I obviously have quite a few analogue cameras, but for work, I always shoot with the same one.<\/p>\n<h6>In 2017, you published your first book \u201c<em>Tus ojos, mis manos<\/em>\u201d (Stendhal), which translates as \u201cYour eyes, my hands\u201d, with the actress <em>Alba Ribas<\/em>. What do you recall about that collaboration and of your first incursion into the literary world?<\/h6>\n<p>It was marvelous. I love and admire <em>Alba<\/em> very much so you can imagine\u2026 Also, publishing your first book is always something that can only make you smile.<\/p>\n<h6>How did the idea of your book \u201c<em>Martina, tengo que hablar contigo<\/em>\u201d (\u201cMartina, we have to talk\u201d) come about?<\/h6>\n<p>It came from bringing out everything I write, from showing, from emptying\u2026 I had many WhatsApp conversations, many texts, notes on my phone\u2026 I think, with everything I have, I can produce three more books hahaha<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-46264 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/portada_martina-tengo-que-hablar-contigo_martina-matencio-lalovenenoso_202105181230.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2000\" height=\"2622\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/portada_martina-tengo-que-hablar-contigo_martina-matencio-lalovenenoso_202105181230.jpg 2000w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/portada_martina-tengo-que-hablar-contigo_martina-matencio-lalovenenoso_202105181230-229x300.jpg 229w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/portada_martina-tengo-que-hablar-contigo_martina-matencio-lalovenenoso_202105181230-768x1007.jpg 768w, https:\/\/ccmagazine.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/portada_martina-tengo-que-hablar-contigo_martina-matencio-lalovenenoso_202105181230-324x425.jpg 324w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 2000px) 100vw, 2000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During lockdown, while I lived with two of my friends, <em>Tai<\/em> and <em>M\u00f3nica<\/em>, I was able to write more and we talked a lot about love\u2026 Let\u2019s say I had time to think and be inspired.<\/p>\n<p>This book is nothing more than a piece of my life, a conversation with myself\u2026<\/p>\n<h2>\u201cThis book is a conversation with myself\u2026\u201d<\/h2>\n<p>I think we are always talking to ourselves although the conversation may be with somebody else, hence the title that, although someone wrote it to me, I always end up talking to myself.<\/p>\n<h6>Is the story of love and heartbreak that you narrate through sensual photographs and WhatsApp messages true?<\/h6>\n<p>It\u2019s super real. I dedicate it to him and if you read the last sentence in the book, you will understand that it is very difficult to say goodbye to someone\u2019s life but that, fortunately, we still have heaven for us to imagine.<\/p>\n<h6>What does Instagram mean to you? Do you think it is an indispensable tool to give your project visibility or alternatively, are you not overly interested?<\/h6>\n<p>It\u2019s a wonderful tool! A network where you can share your work and anyone in the world can see it! The only thing I can\u2019t handle very well is censorship, because it even conditions the way I take photographs, and I don\u2019t like that. It makes me really mad! But it happens unwittingly. If it weren\u2019t for that, I love it.<\/p>\n<p>I also have to say that, although I have followers, I am not obsessed.
