Address: 819 Russell St, Nashville (EE.UU)

The Russell is considered by many to be the most exclusive boutique hotel in Nashville. This gem is located in a historical Presbyterian church that is over 110 years old in one of the coolest and liveliest neighbourhoods in the capital of the state of Tennessee.

“There is a sign that was handmade by Shelby Rodeffer, that pays tribute to Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette.”

The Russell has 23 unique rooms, due to the fact that its owners –  a local hotel group – wanted to keep many of the original features: from its iconic stained glass windows, the old brick walls, to its pews that have been used as headboards for beds, among many other things…

“Our slogan is: Stay Here, Change Lives and we mean it.”

In doing so, it means that guests live an incomparable and unforgettable experience.

Similarly, and in order to give it even more personality and link it to the city, they decided that a number of local designers would undertake the decoration of all the rooms, and this has means that each of them is bursting with art and style.

As if this weren’t enough, The Russell donates part of each stay to a charity organization for the homeless and offers free recording space to local podcasters.

Places like this give travelling meaning.
